2019 BMW Z4 Colors The new Z4 was developed jointly with Toyota, who will get a car from the same platform that carries its sheer supra-moniker. According to BMW, M40i first Edition models will use an inline six-cylinder engine with 382 horsepower and 369 pound-foot torque. (Although the car manufacturer has not said, a turbocharger seems likely.) The car manufacturer estimates that this can drive the soft-top convertible to 60 mph in less than 4.4 seconds.
BMW gave the new M40i first edition an M adaptive suspension with electronically controlled shock absorbers. It will also have M sport brakes and a M sport rear differential, although exact details of these features have not yet been revealed. The only further details offered about how the Z4 will work are that it has a low center of gravity and 50/50 weight distribution.
The models of the first edition offer a range of options from the individual program of BMW with exclusive colors and materials, including frozen orange metallic color, decorative seams on black leather seats and shiny-black interior. While a customer could theoretically configure a later Z4 to match the first issue, these non-regular options will be found in a showroom model, so they would have to be specially ordered.
Other features of the BMW Z4 M40i First edition include a Harman Kardon stereo, adaptive LED headlights and a head-up display. The Z4 M40i first edition will also come with the live cockpit professional from BMW, a digital track cluster with two displays.
BMW will announce all details and specifications of the new Z4 on September 18th, so stay tuned. The models Z4 30i are expected to arrive in the dealers in the spring of 2019. The models Z4 M40i — including the first issue, which does not appear to take place first — should arrive at some point in the second quarter of 2019.
